Digial Media Portfolio
Calumet College of Saint Joseph (September 2018 - DECEMBER 2018)
As part of my Digital & Studio Arts B.A. intern requirement my program director, Professor Paul Somers, had me assist the newly formed Media Club with video editing and video/podcast production setup to help establish the program to set them on a path for digital production within the college for years to come. This included on campus productions with weekly content and video editing of community projects from the students and professors when requested.
Melissa mcallister (August 2017 - Decemeber 2017)
Live Stream Producer
In the middle of 2017 I was hired by Melissa to produce her live streams giving a preview of her Beachbody Coaching business to her new coaches in her business center. This consisted of bi-weekly live streams with several hosts to manage and provide technical support to make a great presentation. As a final production, I created a moment for her and her husband to help motivate others to seize their true potential.
Lauren Fitz Fitness (March 2017 - Present)
Digital Media Producer
Originally contract on March 30, 2017 as her video producer on YouTube, my roles has now expanded to podcast producer, graphic designer, and most recently the web designer and administrator of her official site. I completely redesigned her website to bring her aging website to have a professional presentation to her current and potential customers.
FITz & Healthy Podcast (March 2017 - Present)
Involved in all elements of production in the podcast series since it's launch on May 1st of 2017 as the podcast producer. I maintain the release schedule (never missing a date) and involved in the recording sessions and post production of the YouTube video version as well is the audio version that is deployed to iTunes and Google Play. For recording sessions I use Audacity, Handbrake, OBS Studio and Zoom to record both the audio and video feeds. In post production I use Adobe products such as; Premiere Pro CC 2018, Audition CC 2018, Photoshop CC 2018 and After Effects CC 2018.
Club FITz (March 2017 - Present)
As her video editor I am responsible for the content created on her dance fitness YouTube channel to bring in new elements to a rising genre. Once I receive the raw video recording on Dropbox from the recording gear I recommended her to use in order to produce beautiful 1080p at 60 frames per second, I use the entire Adobe Creative Suite in order to make great thumbnails, graphics, motion graphics, and edit the video and music into a work of art.
Potter fitness center, japan (SEPtEMBER 2011 - March 2015)
I was originally hired on as a dance fitness instructor to teach hip hop and Zumba to the military and Japan community. As a means to get the word out that my classes were now available, I started creating several dance fitness videos as a means of promoting the class. This resulted in having the highest class attendance average among the instructors. The YouTube gained enough traction that I started doing collaborations with music artist that gave me permission to use their songs and make dance choreography for mutual benefit. The link below is of one example that I put together that I always arranged with the Misawa community to show off the annual American Day festival that brought Japanese and Americans together for a weekend of fun.
